The Solution
Having partnered with First Sight Media since 2021 for their graduations, RLSS turned to their trusted production partner to take on the Honours ceremony at Coombe Abbey. Understanding the importance of getting it right the first time and the need for precision in mind, three tailored production options were presented to meet the specific needs of the event and ensure the perfect fit for the venue. This allowed RLSS to confidently choose a solution that aligned with their vision, ensuring both their team and their dedicated on-site producer were working toward the same goal.
Careful consideration was given to the stage design, with ramps meticulously measured and fitted to the space provided—so much so that two site visits were made to ensure everything aligned seamlessly, ensuring a perfect result the first-time round.
The set up included:
- Custom-designed staging that accommodated both the space and accessibility needs of the event.
- Four screens placed throughout the hall for inclusivity, ensuring the entire audience had a clear view of the ceremony, no matter where they were seated.
- A two-camera solution with live vision mixing. This footage was fed to the 4 screens, plus pushed out to a livestream, bringing the ceremony to those who couldn't attend in person.
This level of attention to detail, combined with proactive planning, meant that every aspect of the production was executed flawlessly from the outset. RLSS UK was able to rely on a solution that not only met their unique requirements but did so with the confidence that everything was done right the first time, delivering a smooth and stress-free experience for their team.
